Help us build garden infrastructure while learning from extraordinary local experts about building with rammed-earth and cob, with work-parties starting the last weekend in May through mid-June.
RAMMED-EARTH : led by Joss Krayenhoff of Sirewall and Terra Firma Builders, we will build another terraced garden wall or two using local dirt (mixed with a small amount of cement and silicone) to create more space for planting and our future greenhouse.
COB BUILDING : led by Molly Murphy of the BC Mud Girls Collective, we will construct a bench for the children's stone gathering circle using clay, sand, and straw, then plaster and install mosaics a few weeks later.
